MIAMI – November 25, 2008- Renowned Puerto Rican stylist, Marcos Carrasquillo, attended Telemundo’s special music event, “Lazos de Esperanza con Lorena Rojas”, to support the Mexican singer and actress, who is his client and friend, by creating awareness and offering a message of solidarity to the survivors of breast cancer. Marcos, who recently opened his brand new salon “Qiu: True Element” in the Doral area of Florida, was the hair stylist in charge of the image of Rojas and the other artists who participated in the special concert.

“It is an honor to collaborate with Lorena to create awareness of the dangers of breast cancer. This disease is one of the most frequent causes of death by cancer among Hispanic women and it is vitally important that we all become spokespersons for the message of early detection and the fight to find its cure”, expressed Marcos.

The recording of the TV Special presented by Rojas, who recently had the lead role on the soap opera “Pecados Ajenos”, took place last Thursday, November 20 at the Telemundo Studios and featured the participation of such Hispanic stars as Amaury Gutierrez, Angelica Maria, Cabas, Fonseca, Francisco Cespedes, Jencarlos Canela and Kike Santander, among others. The TV special will air soon in the United States through the Telemundo Network.
