The four-part series highlights beauty transformations and offers tips and ideas on different aspects of the beauty experience

MIAMI – May 18, 2009 - Doral-based hair salon and spa, Qui Salon, is featured in a four-part beauty series airing on Mega TV’s show, “Magazine Uno with Nancy Restrepo.” The series presents Qiu Salon beauty experts, Marcos Carrasquillo, owner and creative director, Dena Gil, makeup artist, and Nilsa Corao, licensed aesthetician. It also features celebrity fashion and image stylist, Sol Roman, from Osho Transformation. The series covers different aspects of the beauty including, hair extensions, makeup, facial treatments and makeovers.

The first part, which aired last Friday, featured the art of hair extensions. During the show, Marcos Carrasquillo spoke about the different types of hair extensions focusing on the Individual Strands method and its application and care.

Future segments will include:

Makeup Session- Makeup artist, Dena Gil, speaks about the types of makeup for your skin tone and shares techniques for makeup application and how to obtain a flawless finish.

Spa/Facial Treatments- Licensed aesthetician, Nilsa Corao, speaks about the importance of skin care. She introduces a non-invasive facial treatment that helps to prevent fine lines and wrinkles.

Beauty and Fashion Makeover- Marcos Carrasquillo, Sol Roman and Dena Gil share tips and ideas for creating an easy-to-do, younger, sophisticated look in a one-day makeover session. From haircut and color to makeup wardrobe and accessories, they explain step-by-step on how to create the perfect look.
